Author Talk: Jessica Q. Stark In-Person
In honor of National Library Week and National Poetry Month, join us for our second Author Talk event! Jessica Q Stark, poet and Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at UNF, will read selections from her works and participate in a Q&A.
Jessica Q. Stark is the author of Buffalo Girl (BOA Editions, 2023), winner of a Florida Book Award and a finalist for the 2023 Maya Angelou Book Award, Savage Pageant (Birds, LLC, 2020), and four poetry chapbooks, including INNANET (The Offending Adam, 2021). Her poems have been published or are forthcoming in The Nation, Best American Poetry, Pleiades, Gulf Coast, among other publications. She is a Poetry Editor at AGNI and is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at the University of North Florida. She co-organizes the Dreamboat Reading Series in Jacksonville, Florida.
