Tutoring in the Library In-Person

The Thomas G. Carpenter Library partners with the Office of Student Academic Success Services (SASS) and the Writing Center to promote academic success. Remember to bring your textbook and other materials. Tutors are here to help, but you are responsible for you own work. Tutors will be located in the Perdue Study Area on the 2nd floor east in the Library Commons.

SASS tutors are available during fall semester to assist with:

  • Spanish             MW           11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • French              MTR          10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • ASL                    MTR          10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Business           MW           5 – 8 p.m.
  • Physics             MT            6 – 8 p.m.
  • Math                 MTWR      5 – 8 p.m.
  • Biology             MTWR      5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
  • Chemistry        MTWR      5:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Writing Center tutors are available:

  • Sunday                           2:00 – 6:00pm
  • Monday                         1:00 – 5:30pm
  • Tuesday                         11:00 – 5:30pm
  • Wednesday                   12:00 – 6:30pm
  • Thursday                       12:00 – 4:00pm
  • Friday                             11:00 – 3:00pm
